Brian McLaren Speaks at Horizons of Faith, Omaha, NE

First United Methodist Church, Omaha, announces that Brian McLaren will appear March 8-10 as speaker for the Horizons of Faith lectures.

The event is titled, “Why Did Jesus, Moses, the Buddha, and Mohammed Cross the Road? Christian Identity in a Multi-Faith World.”

McLaren will address two challenging questions that comprise the essence of the Christian identity crisis of our time. Can you be a committed Christian without having to condemn or convert people of other faiths? Is it possible to affirm other religious traditions without watering down your own?
