Alternate Baptismal Trinitarian Formula

Many Christians have strong reservations about the masculine language of the traditional Trinitarian formula, yet some denominations have rules that require “Father, Son and Holy Spirit” in baptism and perhaps at other times.  I propose expanded language that I hope some, at least, will find not only acceptable, but perhaps a welcome amplification of the tradition:

“. . . in the name of the One the generations call Father; and of the Son, the Human One who walked among us; and of the Spirit who breathes truth and hope among us still . . .”
