In the darkness of my spirit

When my blindness masks my sight

Of the coming of the light.

 

In the coldness of my spirit

When my winter has its way

Of the coming of the day.

 

In the grieving of my spirit

From the tears that bathe my loss

I will sing! sing! sing!

In the spirit of the Cross.

 

In the flowering of my spirit

As I celebrate love’s goal

I will dance! dance! dance!

I will sing! sing! sing!

Of the Christ who makes me whole.
