1. When I dream I see the grumpy people smile

And the crying people wipe away their tears.

If only I could wave my wand

To change their heartache and their fears.

 

2. When I dream I see the bitter people dance

And the moaning people turn to rainbow hues.

If only I could wave my wand

To change their anger and their blues.

 

3. Our magic wands may somehow lose their power

But much greater magic lies within our heart.

Compassion is God’s special way

To give us all a bright new start.
