Farewell
Memorial services in progressive communities are often in need of new words to express the emotions surrounding death. The comfort of the 23rd Psalm is pretty universal, but after that it varies widely. As always, the poet comes to our rescue with language to ease our sorrow, articulate our shared sense of loss, and comfort us in grief.
