Rev.Karen Fitz La Barge

Rev. Karen Fitz La Barge is progressive clergywoman in the Presbyterian Church, USA who has served both large and small congregations over the last 20 years. Currently, she is the solo pastor of North Kent Presbyterian Church in Rockford, Michigan, an open and affirming congregation. Rev. Karen is a bold voice for justice and inclusion, an optimistic leader, a creative teacher, lyricist and monthly writer for the Rockford Squire newspaper. In addition to her pastoral role, she is the President of the Board of Camp Greenwood in Gowen, Michigan; on the Steering Committee of the National Association of Presbyterian Clergywomen and part of the Visioning Team of NEXT Church, an organization which seeks to transform the church and community toward wholeness and justice through relationships.
