Your donations enable us to create and share theologically progressive resources that nurture our faith journeys and are used in church communities around the world. If everyone reading this right now gives just $10 we would be able to continue offering these for free.

Webithon! Spend 24-hours with COMPASSION!

hear stories ⁓ be challenged ⁓ leave inspired

What the world needs now is COMPASSION. And we are about to give it to you. We are embarking on a 24-hour extravaganza in a Compassion Webithon. Come hear stories, be challenged and leave inspired! Starting on the west coast of the United States at 5 pm Pacific time, August 14, we’ll begin the first segment with music by Nimo Patel, Daniel Nahmoud, Pato Banton and Antoinette Rootsdawtah and end with a Techno-concert online House Concert with some of big names in the field. We will then make our way to Japan, New Zealand and Australia and continue west as we go to India, Pakistan, Middle East, Africa, Europe and then swing back to the US, ending at 5pm PT on August 15. You’ll meet Charter partners, city organizers, mayors, public figures and neighbors who are working to bring compassion to their local communities – in a variety of ways. Watch for more details in the next week. Please mark your calendar now.

It is also a fundraiser for the Charter for Compassion. The money raised will support Charter programs into next year such as: Global Reads, online courses, educational partnerships, a global youth e-summit in the fall, etc. The webithon will be free, but you’ll have an opportunity to contribute prior to it and during the event. Please join us in celebrating and highlighting compassion in the world. We will also need your help in spreading the word. Thanks and stay tuned.
