ProgressiveChristianity.org has partnered with Chalice Press to fill a gap in the book world: a devotional for Progressive Christians!   Awakened: A 52-Week Progressive Christian Devotional is written by Co-Executive Director Rev. Dr. Caleb J Lines.

Embark on a transformative journey through 13 powerful themes like diversity, eco-spirituality, mental health, LGBTQ+ inclusion, science, questioning beliefs, and more. Each devotional includes scripture, a reflection on the theme from a progressive Christian perspective, questions for personal reflection or group discussion, and a spiritual practice.  Each devotional will also have an associated video where Dr. Lines will discuss the theme further and lead the reader through the spiritual practice. Fusing scripture, progressive Christian insights, and engaging discussions, each week nurtures a faith that unites intellect and emotion.

He has a passion for pursuing social justice for the marginalized, demonstrating the Good News of God’s radically inclusive love, and proclaiming a relevant message for today’s ever-changing world.
