Born in South Africa and ordained a priest in 1965, Peter Bridge’s early ministry included serving rural mission outstations and urban communities, teaching, and activism. He describes his Social Work internship in Soweto and his exposé of one of the government’s nefarious resettlement schemes as turning points in his life.

In the US, he continued his ministry of healing and reconciliation in individual, couple, and group settings as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Pastoral Psychotherapist. Peter credits his wife Jane, their four children, and their eight grandchildren as the “real seminary” of his life.
