Call of the songbird rising to Heaven,

Movement of bird wings rainbows enshrining,

Color of sunset painting the evening,

Scent of the forest fragrance displaying,

Mystery’s presence, Mystery’s presence,

Filling and empowering all.

 

Wonder of night skies, lighting the darkness,

Telling a history spelt out of starlight,

Held in the fireball birthing the Cosmos,

Leading to people trusting their insight,

Mystery’s presence, Mystery’s presence,

Filling and empowering all.

 

Touch of the lover, hands of the healer,

Smile of the one who comforts the others,

Words which empower the weak and the lifeless,

Love which displays the caring for others,

Mystery’s presence, Mystery’s presence,

Filling and empowering all.

 

Bread that is broken, wine that is poured out,

Thanks that are raised to God who is hosting,

Hands stretching out for Christ ever present,

Blessings that spell the Gospel’s great calling,

Mystery’s presence, Mystery’s presence,

Filling and empowering all.

 

Singing the mystery deep in the silence,

Boundaries dissolving till all is oneness,

Knowing the wonder springing from splendor,

Living a Way of seeking Christ’s fullness.

Christ the Presence, Christ the Presence,

Present in each part of life.
