Please support us during these difficult times so we can continue to be a defining, authentic and intellectually honest voice for progressive Christianity. To grow the Progressive Christian movement. If My Eyes Are Full of Tears

From the ‘Sing Young, Sing Joyfully’ collection

1. If my eyes are full of tears,

If my heart is numb with pain,

Give me hope that does not die;

Bring me back to life again.

2. Though it seems a dismal day

Help me see beyond the rain.

Though my world has come apart

Give me thoughts that keep me sane.

3. When I cannot smile or laugh

Help me find the clown within;

Dance away my solemn blues

Till the festive times begin.
