Astonishing
how little we know
of what there is
to know
but how eager we are
to reach
beyond our grasp.
We see images
and hear words,
then feel unknowable space
around images,
around words.
We sense unknowable silence
taking us to a deeper place
beyond images,
beyond words
and marvel at the mystery
that fills in all the gaps
in a mighty unspeakable way.
