Your donations enable us to create and share theologically progressive resources that nurture our faith journeys and are used in church communities around the world. If everyone reading this right now gives just $10 we would be able to continue offering these for free.

Queer the Church

Darrell Goodwin and Chris Davies are queer leaders in the United Church of Christ. They have worked together: visioning, dreaming and praying for a future where the United Church of Christ is relevant for the past several years. Come with your questions, dreams and spirituality, and listen alongside their conversation of Call, faith and hope…for who we are, and who we can be: where every voice is honored along the journey. While they will be speaking from their own place of identity and call; this offering is not only for queer-identified people but for ALL people seeking a place of rest for the soul.

Featuring: Rev. Darrell Goodwin: Darrell serves the Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota Conferences as an Associate Conference Minister. He brings to this role over 20 years of experience in pastoral ministry and higher education. He Is also Bishop-Elect for of the Midwest Region of TFAM.

Rev. Dr. Chris S. Davies: Chris is the Team Leader for Faith INFO (Faith Education, Innovation, and Formation). She is passionate about justice and Jesus, and is the founder and curator of the Queer Clergy Trading Cards, a project bringing visibility to queer clergy, using humor and irreverence to help change the conversation highlighting the common awe (and absurdities) in faith work. Chris lives in Cleveland, OH, where she keeps bees, tends hens and continues to learn in faith and live justly, serving Christ in all things.

Thursdays for the Soul: A webinar series to care for the whole church. Topics are wide ranging, and are focused on the spirituality and care of people.
