Working Together

We know it won’t be easy to turn the world around

We know it will take time to climb to higher ground

But there’s nothing we can’t do if we really believe

There’s no barriers to the things that we can achieve

All the way through history you can see its power extend

It gave the vote to woman and brought slavery to an end

It was the power of the people that made apartheid fall

It was the power of the people that brought down the Berlin wall

And now when half the world doesn’t have enough to eat

And in the cities there are people sleeping on the street

You can feel the wind of change blowing through the land

Change is going to come — it just needs a helping hand.
