Your support is needed to help ProgressiveChristianityorg. We need to reach our year-end fundraising goal that will determine what we can do for 2023. If you have already donated, thank you! Gathering for worship is rather like a chance to recharge your batteries. A chance to breathe deeply and sing out, a chance to sit quietly in prayer and let go of the week’s distractions, a chance to ponder a thoughtful sermon and find a nugget to remember, a chance to smile at an old friend or meet a new one. When we leave worship, somehow the world is a little more in balance and we are a little more prepared to engage in it.
As we leave worship, let us together commit ourselves:
ALL:
– to give thanks each day for the abundant gift and beauty of life
As we leave worship
Let us remember that we are reflections of the universe
We embody the image of God
Do you ever find it odd
that worshipers are greeted
as they leave the sanctuary?
