Jane Soyster Gould, Chaplain at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and TCPC Advisory Committee member, has contributed a chapter to this useful collection of essays on a subject that is central to our mission.As Coordinator of the Technology and Culture Forum at MIT, Jane is well qualified to write on engineers and evangelism. She insists that we must take on new responsibilities "if we are to hear the voices, engage the minds, sooth the hearts, and enkindle the spirits of the young."The whole collection of twenty-five essays brings together a wide range of perspectives on the question of what it means to evangelize the young people of the church. Rather than simply making young people Christians, evangelization is meant to help them encounter the gospel and recognize the presence of God in their lives.
