I feel the holy at work

standing by myself

in the sanctuary of the Good Shepherd

celebrating the divine

in my own particular floral fashion.

Lilies and hydrangeas,

dahlias and delphinium,

framed with ferns and fronds.

All is glorious green and white!

 

As I create my offering

I hear I’m not alone.

Music spills from the loft above

Sheep May Safely Graze.

 

No lessons

No sermons

No creeds

No confessions

No words to interfere

with the blossoming sound

accompanying my arrangement.

Bach is dancing with the dahlias.

I feel the holy at play.
