America has two original sins. The sin of African slavery is obvious to most of us, but less obvious to Americans who do not live near a reservation was the genocide of Native Americans.

Monday, Oct. 14, 2019 will still be observed by banks and federal offices as “Columbus Day.” Several states and hopefully most churches that have become more “woke” to historical issues, will insist upon observing a Indigenous Peoples’ Day because, quite frankly, as this sermon title states, Columbus was a jerk.
