About the Author: Danielle Dulsky

My work is rooted in what I am still stubbornly choosing to call the “wild feminine,” or the aspects of the human psyche which I believe are the most socially denigrated; these are our connection to the natural world, our right to feel and be sensuous, our knowledge of holistic relationship and the spiral dance of time, our psychic power and intuitive wisdom, and our body-spirit union. I translate the wild feminine into writing, multimedia art, teaching, motherhood, and witchcraft, but I aim to have my core message constant: It is our birthright to resurrect embodied spirituality, a unique holiness that is lived out and experienced in the body, through the senses, and made manifest in ritual, story, and magick-making. I am the author of Woman Most Wild: Three Keys to Liberating the Witch Within and The Holy Wild: A Heathen Bible for the Untamed Woman (New World Library 2017 and 2018), a pagan poet and heathen storyteller, a Celtic free-style Witch, and I long for the mists. May we all find what we seek, hag spirits that we are.

This provocative book invites you to create your own spiritual path based on often-suppressed ancient principles and contemporary practices. Using the elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether) rather than traditional patriarchal hierarchies, this “holy book” is designed to connect each individual to their universal — but often denied — powers.

What do you think of when you hear the word witch? Through centuries of persecution, our society has been indoctrinated into thinking that witches are evil villains. Author and proud witch Danielle Dulsky debunks this interpretation and reveals the true nature of Witchcraft: an ancient spiritual path that rejects religious dogma in favor of female empowerment and a deep reverence for the Earth. In a collaborative, conversational tone, "Woman Most Wild" reclaims the Earth-centered power of aligning with our wildest, freest selves to create an inclusive world for all.
