About the Author: Maurice Harris
I'm a writer, teacher, and rabbi living in Eugene, Oregon. I was ordained in 2003 at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Philadelphia, and I love exploring the possibilities of creative and progressive approaches to Judaism and religion in general. My first book was published in March 2012 - Moses: A Stranger Among Us. Currently I'm working on a new book on Leviticus.
This is a book about the Moses we don't usually hear about – not in religious school or from the pulpit.
