God wake us from illusion, rouse us from our dream,

Free us from believing that things are as they seem.

Though everything seems solid which we can see or clutch

The quantum space within them is something we can’t touch.

 

God wake us from illusion, rouse us from our dreams,

Free us from believing that life is as it seems.

What may appear unchanging, without a proper end

Is always changing, changing and letting life ascend.

 

God wake us from illusion, clear each muddled brain

From the sad deceptions our artful minds contain.

Events that seem quite box-like, all separate and confined,

Transform into a oneness in each enlightened mind.

 

God free our minds from holding racist, sexist views;

May inclusive thinking inform the life we choose.

When one approach to wisdom seems all we need to praise

Help us to see all systems have faults within their ways.

 

God help us see that half truths poison mental health,

Hiding from our reason through subterfuge and stealth.

We learnt that you were living in special time and space

But then we grew to find you in every caring face.

 

Thank God for new awareness, past the veil of dreams,

Marking out the pathways to wisdom’s many streams,

For all things are connected and everything is one;

The force behind the Cosmos that helps the process run.
