All life’s many cycles Rest within God’s circle And reveal Earth dying and yet living.

We come from the Cosmos that birthed our Earth; Each part of that process still nurtures Earth. Our home is this planet that we call Earth. For Earth is God the Presence adorned in cosmic flesh, The shadow of the mystery who is both host and guest.

My desire for you, my friend, Is the same as for myself To be freed from gross desire For more things or for more wealth Through embracing sharing ways That can nurture inner health.
We are one with the creatures, One with the plants, One with the life of Earth.
We are the stewards of this wondrous earth With all its teeming life of priceless worth; In all creation God is thus revealed In birds and beasts, in forests and each field;

As wind that dances lightly round the clouds, As sighs that come from loving’s warm caress, As rising air that lofts the soaring bird God’s Spirit can empower what we express.
